Newton has some of the lowest spread fees, a large selection of altcoins, and a simple UI design that is very easy to use. It is a safe, regulated, and legit crypto exchange for Canadians. Despite the rough verification process and sometimes spotty customer service — I use Newton as one of my main go-to exchanges.

I am writing this Newton review after using the exchange for about three years now.
